Minor things like loitering or trespassing can turn into serious offenses quickly. Trust Your Instincts! You know your neighborhood better than most because you live there. If your instincts are telling you something isn’t right, it probably isn’t. Call police immediately, and articulate to them why the situation is suspicious. Our non-emergency number is 414-351-9900, but if you don’t have time to look it up or can’t remember it, 9-1-1 will work fine.
Before considering an alarm system, insure that your home is target hardened. Target hardened means you have checked your homes locks, lighting, landscape, and have a solid crime prevention strategy. If you are unsure, you can call 414-228-1741 and he will come out to your home and conduct a security survey for no cost to you. After your home has been target hardened and you still want an alarm system as another blanket of security there are many licensed alarm companies in the greater Milwaukee area. We recommend that alarm buyers get at least two bids for the work, ask for references, and make training provided to everyone who will use the alarm.
