Learn about Glendale Library Options

In August 2020, the City of Glendale Common Council voted to give notice to leave the North Shore Library in 2023. After more than a year of discussion, Glendale made the decision to leave the joint library and move forward with a plan to provide library service that will better meet the needs of its residents.

In September 2020, the Glendale Library Review Committee was formed. This committee was charged with determining the library needs of the community. Glendale Library Review Committee's Recommendation to Common Council

In the spring of 2021, the City conducted an on-line survey and reviewed results.  At that time, the option for the North Shore Library to have a new facility in Bayside was not available.  With the new information, it is important to receive input from Glendale residents.
